About the Scheme

The first-ever “Quality Food Traceability Scheme” 2015 is to recognize local enterprises which demonstrate excellence in food traceability practices, including the effective adoption of international standards and technology for its food management systems to enable high level of traceability with the ultimate goal in serving better and safer food to consumers.

 

 

Principles & Definitions

The assessment criteria are jointly developed by industry practitioners, with cross reference to ISO 22005, ISO 9001, HACCP (ISO 22000:2005), BRC (British Retail Consortium) Global Standard – Food, IFS (International Featured Standard) – Food, SQF (Safe Quality Food), Global G.A.P, etc.

Additional Benefits

In addition to the above entitlements, each participating company will receive an additional assessment based on the assessment criteria. A team of professional assessors with diverse and extensive experience will assess each participating company. In return, each company will receive a full report reflecting its strengths and opportunities for improvement that will benefit the company to develop a roadmap for better food traceability management.
